Emergency first aid training for individuals
Emergency First Aid for the Public
Our Emergency First Aid for the Public course is similar to our Emergency First Aid for Appointed Persons course, but designed to focus on the needs of members of the public rather than workplaces.
The one day course covers CPR, dealing with bleeding, taking a history, choking, burns, fractures, chest pain, the unconcious casualty, diabetes and asthma. After completion, delegates receive a certificate which is valid for 3 years.
Courses can be held at our training facilities or a specific venue and can be customised to suit your particular requirements.
We have low delegate to tutor ratios (no more than 10 delegates to 1 tutor), experienced tutors (with plenty of practical experience) and high quality resources.
Each delegate receives:
- training in the latest methods and best practise*;
- specially designed, full-colour course notes book;
- practical demonstrations and practices;
- a 128 page full-colour book on first aid;
- a certificate of completion that is valid for 3 years.
The course costs just £60 per person and includes all materials and resources.
There is no final exam, but each delegate receives continued assessment from the tutor throughout the day.
